Just letting you know about the upcoming Level 2 IPSC Match on 10th Mar and set up etc.

So set up will be starting this Saturday 2nd Mar and due to the forecast Temp I will be on site from 6am to get a good start. We will be finishing up around 12pm depending on the Temperature.
On Saturday the Ranges 1,4&5 will be priority for setting up for the Stage Designers and their Team and those ranges will remain closed from Saturday 2nd until completion of the Match on the 10th.
Ranges 2&3 will continue to be open for the ISSF and Service matches to continue and will be closed from Thursday 7th Mar where set up can begin on thoise 2 ranges and again will be closed until the completion of the Match on 10th Mar 24.
There are lots to do for the match and they will not all be completed this Saturday obviously, however any help would be appreciated.
Items to be completed:
- Mowing of all ranges and wiper sniping ( as well as prior to match depending on weather)
- Cleaning of the toilets
- Cleaning of the Clubhouse
- Target sticks to be organised and worn ones to be cut down to be reused
- General Tidy up of all Ranges
- Fault lines to be painted where required
- Walls Repaired where required
- Targets to be made where partial targets are required
- Patches to be organised and bagged into groups for hand out
- All Steel Targets that are damaged, fail to fall (poppers) need attention like target stands to be put aside
- Unblocking the drains on ranges and fitting shade cloth on drain covers Ranges 4&5
There may be more to add however if you can't make this Saturday but can assist during the week or next Saturday 9th prior to the match there will be things still to do and they will be written on the white board at the back of Range 2 as usual and feel free to cross them out as they are completed.
I will be at the club tomorrow from 3pm starting to clean up and looking at range props, if you are free pop on down and lend a hand or 2 as there will be plenty to do.
Once again our Ipswich Club Chef Mr Putinja, who is an A Grade Chef and has worked in many famous restaurants around the world (including assisting Jamie Oliver) is cooking for us this Saturday once again so please remember to personally thank him as he is always the one who puts his hand up and volunteers every single time.

I really hope to see more of you all there either this weekend or the following as this is getting to be tiring for the Regular Handful of members that turn up each and every time to put on a great match for all the other clubs to enjoy. Many hands make light work.
Our level 1 Club Match that is scheduled for the 9th Mar will be moved to Sat 23rd Mar and our Wednesday night shoot scheduled for 6th will be cancelled due to ranges 1,4&5 being closed.
